- The Government of the Republic of Kenya [GoK] has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Project, Kenya. [HoAGW4RP] and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the Procurement of Drilling Exploratory Boreholes.
- Water Resources Authority [WRA] now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Drilling of Exploratory Boreholes as detailed below:

- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids [RFB] as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised in September 2023, 5th Edition [“Procurement Regulations”], and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Water Resources Authority, and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0800 to 1700hours local time from Monday to Friday, except public holidays, at the address given below.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Table above. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on above timings
- All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Commercial bank guarantee and shall be valid for 152 days.
