INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)

PROCUREMENT OF ENTERPRISE-GRADE MYSQL AND EDB POSTGRES ADVANCED SERVER LICENSES SUPPORT FOR A PERIOD OF THREE
YEARS AND IMPLEMENTATION AND DEPLOYMENT SERVICES FOR CENTRAL BANK OF KENYA

1. The Central Bank of Kenya invites sealed tenders for – Procurement of Enterprise-Grade MYSQL and
   EDB Postgres Advanced Server Licenses Support for a Period of Three Years and Implementation and
   Deployment Services for Central Bank of Kenya . Tender Ref. Number CBK/099/2025-2026.
2. A complete set of tender documents containing detailed information can be downloaded free of charge from
   the Central Bank of Kenya website: www.centralbank.go.ke or from the Government tenders portal:
   www.tenders.go.ke. All interested and eligible bidders should forward their emails and address to the Email
   address: supplies@centralbank.go.ke. to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
3. Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and levies, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid
   for 140 days from the closing date of the tender.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 50,000.00 in the format provided in the tender
   document valid for 170 days from the date of tender opening.
5. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 16th March 2026 at 10.30 a.m. virtually. Interested bidders intending to join
   the meeting online are requested to share their email addresses using Supplies@centralbank.go.ke
6. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender reference number
   and be deposited in the Green Tender Box No. 3 at the main entrance, ground floor of Central Bank of Kenya
   along Haile Selassie Avenue, to be received on or before 26th March 2026 at 10.30 A.M. Electronic Tenders
   will not be permitted.
7. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
   time specified later in the Senior Staff Canteen Room on 6th floor of CBK Building, Haile Selassie Avenue,
   Nairobi. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives or anyone
   who chooses to attend. Bidders’ representatives and other persons who choose to attend the tender opening
   session will be required to have personal identification documents (National ID/Passport).
8. Late tender will be rejected.
