KENYA POWER AND LIGHTING COMPANY PLC TENDER JULY 2022 

INVITATION FOR TENDER

1. The Government of Kenya has received funding from the African Development Bank towards the

cost of Procurement of Plant, Supply and Extension of Voltage Lines. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this funding will be applied to eligible payments under this project.

2. The Kenya Power and Lighting Company PLC now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for: KP1/6E.1/OT/10/22/B03 LOT A: Procurement of Plant, Supply and Extension of Voltage Lines in Kisumu, Siaya, Kisii, Migori, Homa Bay, Vihiga, Busia, Bungoma & Kakamega Counties.
3. Bidding will be  conducted  through  the  International  Competitive  Bidding  procedures  as  specified in the African Development Bank rules of procedure: Procurement of Goods and Works Rules of Procedure”) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Rules of Procedure for Procurement of Goods and

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the address below during office hours between 0900 to 1200 and 1400 to 1630 hours (East Africa time).

8. Bids (hard copies) must be delivered on or before 6^th September, 2022 at 00 am. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on 6^th September, 2022 at 10.30 am (local time) at Stima Plaza Auditorium.

9. All bids MUST be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than the indicated amount for item(s) or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency: KES 7,007,300 or USD 59,900.
