INVITATION TO TENDER
CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: PROPOSED COMPLETION OF LABORATORY AND OFFICE BLOCK FOR KENYA MARINE AND FISHERIES RESEACRH INSTITUTE KISUMU
1. The KENYA MARINE AND FISHERIES RESEACRH INSTITUTE invites sealed tenders for the construction of PROPOSED COMPLETION OF LABORATORY AND OFFICE BLOCK FOR KENYA MARINE AND FISHERIES RESEACRH INSTITUTE KISUMU Tendering will be conducted under national open competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.

3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours [8:00am-4:00pm] at the address given below.
4. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the www.kmfri.go.ke and Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP). Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.kmfri.go.ke and Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP). Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to supplies@kmfri.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 91 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security Kshs 500,000 (Kenya Shillings Five Hundred Thousand Only
8. The Tenderer shall CHRONOLOGICALLY SERIALIZE ALL PAGES of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the tender box situated at the entrance of the Procurement office at Kenya Marine and Fisheries Reseach Institute Mombasa HQs on or before 11th May 2022 at 10:00am all tenders are instructed to submit two sets of the bid document i.e. original and a copy sealed in one envelope.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and times specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
