INVITATION TO TENDER
CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: Erection and completion of 8No. Classrooms on
reinforced concrete elements (columns, beams and slab). The superstructure will be consist of
concrete works for columns and beams, suspended slab and machine cut stone walling. The roof
will consist of box profile pre painted roofing sheets gauge 28 G.C.I sheets box profile on timber
trusses. The external wall finish will consist of horizontal key pointing to wall, weather guard
paint to columns & beams. The internal finish will include plaster and paint to walls and floors
finished in red oxide. Ceiling finishes are in plaster and paint, and chipboard ceiling on timber
brandering. Doors are in steel and windows in glazed steel casement. THE TIME FOR
COMPLETION IS TWENTY (20) WEEKS.
1. LENANA SCHOOL invites sealed tenders for the construction of the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF
8NO CLASSROOMS FOR LENANA SCHOOL.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested NCA 6 and above Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non- refundable fees of Kshs. 1,000.00 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below.

6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include both 0.03% CBL and 16% V.A.T. Tenders
shall remain valid for 126 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kenya Shillings 200,000.00 valid for a period of
156 days issued by recognized financial institution CBK or insurance companies listed by PPRA and registered by IRA.8. The Tenderer Shall Chronologically and sequentially serialize all pages of their bid document submitted in the format
of 1,2,3,4………………… From the cover page to the last page including all attachment.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 17th
February,2026 AT 10.00 A.M
Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.

10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
timesspecified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
