INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A MATERNITY UNIT, POST NATAL WARD, NEW BORN UNIT AND PAEDIATRIC WARD AT KITUI COUNTY REFERRAL HOSPITAL

The County Government of Kitui invites sealed tenders for proposed construction of a maternity unit, post natal
ward, new born unit and paediatric ward at Kitui county referral hospital
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document. Tendering
is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours [insert office hours if applicable i.e. 0800 to 1700 hours] at the address given below.
2. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenderers for free of charge from the website
www.kitui.go.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal https://www.tenders.go.ke.
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.kitui.go.ke Tenderers who
download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@kitui.go.ke to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Ksh 1,227,039
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Completed tenders must be submitted online in the Ifmis supplier portal
(https://www.supplier.treasury.go.ke) on or before 23rd February 2026 at 12.00 NOON. MANUAL
SUBMISSIONS will not be permitted.
NOTE: Bidders who may experience challenges in accessing and uploading their tenders in the IFMIS
Tender portal should contact the IFMIS helpdesk (Tel:0800721477 / 020480180) at the National Treasury.
7. Tenders will be opened online immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
8. Late tenders will be rejected.
