COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF NYERI TENDER MARCH 2024 

INVITATION TO TENDER
The County Government of Nyeri invites sealed tenders for the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF
BOUNDARY WALL AT KARATINA SUB-COUNTY OFFIES
1. Tendering will be conducted under national competitive bidding using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Tenderers may obtain further information at the Nyeri County Government Procurement Office at The Nyeri
county Government headquarters during official working hours.
3. Tenderers may view and download a complete set of tender documents electronically from the Nyeri County
Government website free of charge www.nyeri.go.ke
4. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to Nyeri County
Government Procurement Office to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 150
days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security or bid bond Kenya Shillings One Hundred and
Seventy Four Thousand. (Kshs. 198,000.00).
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted e.g 1, 2,3…..
8. They will be a Pre-tender site visit on 7th March, 2024. Tenderers shall assemble at Karatina SubCounty offices at 11:00am.
9. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes (original and copy) marked with
tender name and reference number and deposited in the Tender Box at Nyeri County Government Offices or
to be sent to the County Secretary, Nyeri County Government P.O. Box 1112-10100 Nyeri so as to be
received on or before 14th March, 2024 at 11:00am.
10. Tenders will be publicly opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
