INVITATION TO TENDER

PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF MODERN MARKET/BUSINESS CENTRE AT NUNGUNI, MAKUENI COUNTY
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours i.e. 0900 to1500 hours at the address given below.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically from the county website
www.makueni.go.ke or w w w . tender.go.ke Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the county website i.e.
www.makueni.go.ke o r w w w . tender.go.ke Tenderers who download the tender document must
forward their particulars immediately to co.trade@makueni.go.ke to facilitate any further
clarification or addendum.
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain
valid for 140 days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All bids must be accompanied by an ORIGINAL bid security of Kshs 1,400,000.00 in the form of
Bank Guarantee/ cash/ a guarantee by an Insurance Company registered and licensed by the Insurance
Regulatory Authority/ a Guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central
Bank of Kenya from a reputable source. Bid security must remain valid for 170 days after bid submission deadline.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted electronically through IFMIS (www.supplier.treasury.go.ke) on or
before 29TH DECEMBER, 2025 at 10:00 AM Via negotiation number: 2073753
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
