INVITATION TO TENDER

The County Ministry of Roads Public Works and Transport-Transport and Boda Boda
Sector invites sealed tenders for the construction of
Proposed Construction of Traffic Signalization in Kitui Town Entry Junction E 390091.N9849048. Tendering will
be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all
qualified and interested Tenderers.
1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours Monday- Friday, 08:00Am to 1700 Pm at the address given below.
2. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders at Kitui County Website:
www.kitui.go.ke or Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) through: www.tenders.go.ke Free of Charge.
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the kitui county website www.kitui.go.ke. Or
the PPIP website www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to procurement@kitui.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Kshs. 239,700.00 (Two hundred and thirty
nine thousand,seven hundred shillings only ). Original tender Security must be
submitted/delivered to the Office of the Ag.
Head, Supply Chain management Services at the Governor’s Administration Block savani Road or
provide a mechanism to verify the securities such as QR codes or an online portal before the date and
time Tuesday– 20th January 2026 12:00 NOON.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders MUST be submitted through the IFMIS
supplier portal; www.supplier.treasury.go.ke as per the requirements contained in the document so as
to be received on or before Tuesday– 20th January 2026 12:00 NOON.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
