PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF TUITION BLOCK – MTTI

MATHENGE TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE TENDER AUGUST 2021 

Mathenge Technical Training Institute hereby invites sealed tenders from reputable, competent and eligible bidders for the following works.

Interested eligible bidders/contractors meeting the criteria below shall be considered:

1)      Copy of valid registration certificate with National Construction Authority category NCA7, and above, in Building works.

2)      Copy of certificate of company/firm registration/incorporation

3)      Valid business license/ Business permit

4)      In case of a company, attach a copy of the current CR12 form from the Registrar of Companies.

5)      Submission of a bid bond of 2% of the bid price from a recognized bank or an established and approved insurance company.

6)      Copies of Valid PIN and Tax Compliance Certificates

7)      Copy of VAT Registration Certificate

8)      Copies of audited accounts for the last three years

9)      Copies of certified bank statements of the bidder for the last three years.

10)   Details of similar works completed within the last three years giving details of clients

11)   Details of contractors qualification for key personnel

12)   Details of contractor s plants and equipment.

13)   Litigation history of the company (both court and arbitration history)

14)   Copy of the official receipt for purchase of tender document

Tender documents can be obtained from the Procurement Office, Mathenge Technical Training Institute upon payment (at the Accounts Office), in cash or bankers cheque, a non-refundable fee of KES. 1000.00 per tender document.

Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked “TENDER FOR PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF TUITION BLOCK (PHASE 1 – GROUND FLOOR AND FIRST FLOOR) and addressed to the undersigned must be deposited in the Institutes Tender Box on or before Thursday, 12^th August, 2021 at 10.00 a.m.

The tender documents will be opened immediately thereafter in the Institute Library Block, Ground Floor. Applicants or their representatives are free to witness the tender opening.
