The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project (KCSAP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for PROPOSED UMOJA MBUYU CONCRETE DAM AND RELATED CIVIL WORKS, in Leshau Pondo Ward, Ndaragwa Sub-County, Nyandarua County.

1. The County Government of Nyandarua now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for
   PROPOSED UMOJA MBUYU CONCRETE DAM AND RELATED CIVIL WORKS.
2. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Banks Guidelines: ‘Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD f Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers’, dated January 2011 (revised July 2014) and Is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Nyandarua County website, www.nyandarua.go.ke  and also from the KCSAP Procurement Office Located at Department of Agriculture situated on the Njabini-OlKalou Junction, during normal working hours and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e. 8.00am to 5.00pm at the address given below.
4. The Bidding document in English language may be obtained by interested bidders from the Nyandarua County Website www.nyandarua.go.ke  free of charge.
5. The employer shall conduct a MANDATORY Pre-Tender Site Visit and meeting on 25^th  February 2022 at the KCSAP Olkalou Offices situated on the Njabini-OIKalou Junction at 10.00am before proceeding to the proposed site at Umoja Mbuyu. in Leshau Pondo Ward, Ndaragwa Sub-County.
6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security amounting to KES 500,000 (Kenya Shilllings five hundred thousand only) from reputable Financial Institution.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below and submitted on or before 14^th  March, 2022 at 10.00am. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend.
8. Complete tender documents (Original and one copy) are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes dearly marked with f tender reference number NYA/CG/ALF/KCSAP/ONT/02/2021-2022.
