PROPOSED FACILITIES FOR SECURITY HUB AT KWS TSAVO CONSERVATION AREA 2022 – MOTW

MINISTRY OF TOURISM AND WILDLIFE TENDER SEPTEMBER 2022 

The Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife through the State Department for Wildlife is leading the implementation of Global Environment Facility- (GEF-UNDP) funded project, ‘Combating Poaching and Illegal Wildlife Traffick- ing in Kenya through an Integrated Approach- Kenya Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT-Kenya)”. The project seeks to address legal, policy, and institutional gaps and responding to threats of illegal wildlife trade. The State Department for Wildlife now invites Proposed Facilities for Security Hub at KWS Tsavo Conservation Area TENDER NO: MOTW/SDW/ONT/001/2022-2023 

Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.

Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

Tender documents containing detailed specifications can be downloaded free of charge from our website www.tourism.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke and register for notifications for the tender in the www.tenders.go.ke. All clarifications shall be posted on the tender portal.

Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (120) days from the date of opening of tenders.

All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Ksh.1,000,000 in form of Bank Guarantee. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

Completed tenders must be delivered to the address The Principal Secretary, State Department for Wildlife,

PO. Box 41394 – 00100, or deposited into the tender box at the State Department for Wildlife, NSSF Build- ing, Block-A, Eastern Wing, 15th Floor, on or before 12:00 noon, 11th October 2022. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.

Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address above.

Late tenders will be rejected.
