INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED INSTALLATION AND REPAIR OF SOLAR ENERGY INTEGRATED STREETLIGHTS FROM KWA VONZA TOWN TO MWITASYANO RIVER IN KWA
VONZA WARD.

1. The County Government of Kitui invites sealed tenders for Proposed Installation And Repair Of Solar
Energy Integrated Streetlights From Kwa Vonza Town To Mwitasyano River In Kwa Vonza Ward.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours i.e. 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically from the County Government of
Kitui website; www.kitui.go.ke, or Public Procurement Information Portal; www.tenders.go.ke free of
charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free of charge from the kitui county website
www.kitui.go.ke. or the PPIP website www.tenders.go.ke.
6. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 140
days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by an original tender security of Kshs. 165,000, in form of a bank
guarantee, a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by Insurance Regulatory
Authority listed by the Authority or a guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed
by the Central Bank of Kenya. the original bid security must be submitted to the Office of the Ag. Head,
Supply chain management services situated at Governor’s administration Block before the date and
time Tuesday, 6th January 2026 at 12.00 Noon
- The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted, from the
cover page to the last page including all attachments in the numerical format of 1, 2,3…… - Completed tenders must be submitted through the IFMIS supplier portal
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke as per the requirements contained in the document so as to be received
on or before Tuesday, 6th January, 2026 At 12.00 Noon
10.Completed tenders indicating tender number and description as described in the Tender Document
shall be submitted back in soft copies. The softcopies should be submitted through supplier portal
11.Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12.Late tenders will be rejected.
