PROPOSED INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL REFURBISHMENT WORKS TO MAJI HOUSE
BUILDING, COMMUNITY AREA NGONG ROAD

1. The Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation invites sealed tenders for the
Proposed Refurbishment Works to Maji House Building.

The scope of works is as follows
1) Tiles & Replacement of Floor Carpets (Floor Finishes)
2) Interior Painting (Wall Finishes)
3) Curtain Blinds & Replacement of Broken Window (Window Finishes)
4) Replacement of Doors, Door Frames, Locks and Door Stoppers,
The Construction Period Is16Weeks (4 MONTHS)
The Location is Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, Maji House Building,
Community Area Ngong Road
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (Open National
Tender) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours [. 0900 to 1500 hours] at the address
given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenderers
electronically from the Website(s) www.water.go.ke and www.ppip.go.ke.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
(www.water.go.ke and www.ppip.go.ke).
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to (at the address given below) to facilitate any further clarification or
addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes.

Tenders shall remain valid for (120) days from the date of opening of tenders.

7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a [ “tender Security” of (2%) two percent
of the tender in Kenya shillings (In Accordance with Section 61(2) (c) of the PPAD
Act 2015)
or
“Tender-Securing Declaration, the target group shall be required to fill and sign the
Tender Securing Declaration Form as prescribed. (In Accordance with Section 61(5) Of
the PPAD Act 2015)
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
(Mandatory In Accordance with Section 74(1)(i) Of the PPAD Act 2015)
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before [10.00am
on 25th August 2022].
Electronic Tenders [will not] be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any dead line date and time specified later.
Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
