INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED REHABILITATION AND AUGMENTATION OF WATER SUPPLIES IN BUNYALA SUB-COUNTY
TENDER NUMBER: BSA/CG/UNICEF/001/2025/2026
The County Government of Busia through UNICEF KENYA invites sealed tenders for the Works
mentioned above and in the Invitation to Tender
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents from the Public Procurement Information Portal www.tenders.go.ke
2. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders from
the PPIP Portal www.tenders.go.ke
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward
their particulars immediately to procbusia@gmail.com, P.O Box Private Bag
Busia to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders
shall remain valid for 90 days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Tenders to be accompanied with original Bid Bond of Kshs 272,291 from a reputable
Bank or Insurance company
7. Complete filled tenders and attachments in a clearly sealed envelope marked with
tender number and tender description addressed to the Chief Officer Water and
Irrigation must be deposited in the tender box located at the main entrance to the
County Headquarters, Ground floor on or before 30/10/2025 at 10.00 a.m.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
