INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF TIENGRE RESOURCE CENTRE/SAFE HOUSE
1. The COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KISUMU invites sealed tenders for PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF
TIENGRE RESOURCE CENTRE/SAFE HOUSE
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain a complete set of tender documents electronically from the County
website www.kisumu.go.ke, Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) www.tenders.go.ke, and/or from
the IFMIS portal supplier.treasury.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be downloaded and viewed for free from the website www.kisumu.go.ke, Public
Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) www.tenders.go.ke and Suppliers Portal. Tenderers who download the
tender document must forward their particulars immediately procurement.cgk@kisumu.go.ke to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
5. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 210 days
from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of Kenya Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (Kshs.
100,000.00) in any of the following forms; a bank guarantee from a reputable bank listed by the Central Bank of
Kenya; a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority and
listed by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
7. The Tenderer shall CHRONOLOGICALLY SERIALIZE ALL PAGES of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 22nd December, 2023 at 10.30 Am.
Electronic Tenders will be permitted. All tenderers are instructed to submit one Original tender document manually
and also upload the same in the IFMIS Portal.
NOTE that there should be no discrepancy between the tender uploaded in the IFMIS Portal and the Manual Tender
document submitted. Tenderers are advised to frequently check on the County website www.kisumu.go.ke for
addendums to this tender.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
times specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
