PROPOSED SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF MODERN SOLAR POWERED FLOOD LIGHTS.
Invitation to Tender (ITT)No. 2100544-2025/2026.
The County Embu County Government through the Department of Roads, Public Works, Transport,
Energy and logistics invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for PROPOSED SUPPLY and
INSTALLATION OF MODERN SOLAR-POWERED FLOOD LIGHTS.
Tendering will be conducted under Open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
Tendering is open to Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with the National Treasury under
Access for Government Procurement Opportunities for Women
1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours [0900 to1600 hours] at the address given below.

2. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) http://www.embu.go.ke or
www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers who
download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@embu.go.ke to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
3. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
(140) days from the date of opening of tenders.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration Form in the format prescribed in the
tender document valid for 170 days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Completed tenders MUST be submitted online through the Integrated Financial Management Information
Systems (IFMIS) and One (1 No.) Original hard copy delivered to the address below on or before on or
before 11th February 2026; at 11.00am
7. In case of variance between bid document submitted manually and bid submitted through the IFMIS
System, the tenderer will automatically be disqualified.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.
