INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)

PROPOSED SUPPLY, DELIVERY, AND COMMISSIONING OF GRADERS, EXCAVATORS, WHEEL LOADERS/SHOVEL, ROLLERS, AND DOZERS
The County Government of Kisii through the department of Infrastructure, Roads and Public Works
invites tenders for the PROPOSED SUPPLY, DELIVERY, AND COMMISSIONING OF
GRADERS, EXCAVATORS, WHEEL LOADERS/SHOVEL, ROLLERS, AND DOZERS
Bidders SHALL bid for both lots. Bidders wishing to offer discounts will be allowed to do so
provided those discounts are included in the Form of Tender.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document.
2. The tender is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Eligible and interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding
documents at the Director Supply Chain Management office, situated at the County Treasury,
Block A, Room no. 6 between 8.00am and 5.00pm Kenyan Time.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates free of charge
from the following links www.kisii.go.ke/tenders
5. Bidders who download the tender document and who wish to seek for any further tender
clarifications and/or addendums may use Email: procurement@kisii.go.ke.
6. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and service delivery costs, must be expressed
in Kenya shillings and will remain valid for 140 days from date of tender opening.
7. All tenderers to provide Tender Security/bid bond of Ksh. 18,000,000 (Eighteen million
shillings only) from a financial institution regulated by Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
Original bid bond should be deposited and registered with the office of the Director Supply
Chain Management office, situated at the County Treasury, Block A, Room no. 6 while its
copy is to be attached with the tender documents.
8. The Tenderer document shall be chronologically serialized. All pages of the tender document
submitted numerically in the order of 1, 2, 3…. of all the documents submitted.
9. Completed tender documents must be submitted on the IFMIS portal using negotiation no.
Provided herein not later than 15th October, 2025 at 10.00 am.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the County Treasury, Block A,
Procurement pool in the presence of tenderers‘ representatives who choose to attend.
