INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED UPGRADE TO BITUMEN STANDARDS OF THE TSEIKURU MARKET ROADS (1.48KM)

The County Ministry of lands housing and urban development invites sealed tenders for the construction of
PROPOSED UPGRADE TO BITUMEN STANDARDS OF THE TSEIKURU MARKET ROADS (1.48KM).
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document. Tendering
is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours Monday- Friday, 09:00Am to 1700 Pm at the address given below.
2. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders at Kitui County Website:
www.kitui.go.ke or Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) through: www.tenders.go.ke Free of Charge.
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.kitui.go.ke. Tenderers who
download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@kitui.go.ke to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
(180) days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Kshs.544,000.00 (Five Hundred and forty
four Thousand Shillings Only).
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders MUST be submitted through the IFMIS supplier portal;
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke as per the requirements contained in the document so as to be
received on or before Monday 2nd March 2026 at 12.00 Noon.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
