The County Government of Homabay (HBCTY) invites bids for the Proposed Upgrading to Bitumen Standards of
Absa Bank Junction to Department of Health Headquarters Loop to St. Pauls Catholic Church Road
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
2. The tender is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Any Contractors with pending works with the County Government of Homabay are NOT eligible to participate in this tender.
3. Eligible and interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at Director Supply Chain Office County Government of Homabay (HBCTY) between 8.00am and 5.00pm Kenyan Time, during Official working day
4. The document may be downloaded free of charge from the Public Procurement Information Portal www.tenders.go.ke and/or County Website (www.homabay.go.ke).
5. Bidders who download the tender document must register with County Government; the company name, postal, physical, email and telephone address for the purposes of receiving any further tender clarifications and/or addendums if need be through Email: procurement@homabay.go.ke
6. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and service delivery costs, must be expressed in Kenya shillings and will remain valid for 120 days from date of tender opening.
7. All tenderers to provide Ksh. 1,500,000.00 bid security from financial institution regulated by Central Bank of Kenya (CBK). Original bid bond should be deposited and registered with the procurement secretariat while its copy uploaded with the tender documents.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages and attachments numerically in the order of 1, 2, 3…… of the tender documents submitted.
9. The duly completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the Tender Number and Tender Name to be addressed to the County Government of Homa Bay P.O Box 469-40300 or be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the entrance of the Governor’s Office so as to be received on or before 5th May 2022 at 11.00 a.m .
10. Late tenders will be rejected
11. Tender documents that cannot fit in the tender box should be registered with the procurement secretariate at the Office of the County Director of Supply Chain Management during Official working hours
12. Opening of the tenders will take place immediately thereafter in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
