INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED WORK FOR KATHANATU BRIDGE

1. The County Government of Tharaka Nithi invites eligible candidates for tenders for the proposed work for
Kathanatu Bridge.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
hours Supply chain Management Offices, Kathwana during normal office working hours.
4. Interested eligible candidates may download a complete set of tender documents with evaluation criteria from the
county website: www.tharakanithi.go.ke or IFMIS Supplier Portal: http://supplier.treasury.go.ke OR procurement
portal www.tenders.go.ke using the unique IFMIS Negotiation Number indicated in the tender advert
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (120)
days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by Ksh 360,000/- bid security inform of a Bank guarantee, cash OR a guarantee
by an insurance company registered and licensed by the insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tender documents must be submitted through the IFMIS Suppliers Portal
(http://supplier.treasury.go.ke) as per the requirements contained in the document so as to be received on or before
the date and time indicated in the IFMIS
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above online and the suppliers shall
receive notification on the opening date of commercial bids which shall be projected at the county offices. Bidders
or their representative may attend the commercial opening.
