INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE COVER FOR COUNTY VEHICLES AND MOTORBIKES.

1. The Kwale County Government through the County Department of EDUCATION
wishes to invite sealed Eligible underwriters for the provision of Comprehensive
Insurance Cover Services for the Kwale County Government Vehicles and
Motorbikes.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested
underwriters. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one item.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours 0900-1700 at the County Procurement
Offices, County Treasury. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded
from the website www.kwalecountygoc.com or www.ppip.go.ke
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders upon
downloading from www.kwalecountygov.com. Documents obtained electronically
will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.kwalecountygov.com Or www.supplier.treasury.go.ke Or www.ppip.go.ke .
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to info@kwalecounty.com
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of an amount of Kenya
shillings Thirty thousandShillings (30,000) from authorized financial institution
approved by PPRA.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before
WEDNESDAY 5TH NOVEMBER 2025 10.00 a.m. Only Electronic Tenders will be permitted.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the
address below. Late tenders will be rejected ,The levy order 2023 provides that
there shall be paid a levy by supplier value on all procurement contracts signed
between the supplier and procuring entity, at the zero point zero three per
centum(0.03%) of the value of the signed contract , exclusive of applicable taxes. - The addresses referred to above are:
