INVITATIONTO TENDER
PROVISION OF COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KILIFI STAFF & THEIR DEPENDANTS
TENDER NUMBER:KCG/PSM/1813074/2024/2025
1. The County Government of Kilifi P.O Box 519-80108 Kilifi invites sealed tenders for
the provision ofStaff Medical Insurance Cover for two years renewable for a further
one year subject to satisfactory contract performance.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested
Tenderers. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours 0800am to 5.00pm at the address
given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the County
Government of Kilifi official website: (www.kilifi.go.ke).
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders FREE
OF CHARGE from the County Government of Kilifi Official website:
www.kilifi.go.ke or the ifmis tender portal: suppliers.treasury.go.ke.
5. Tender documents may also be viewed and downloaded for free from the Public
Procurement Information Portal (PPIP):https://tenders.go.ke
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a bid bond of Ksh.3,500,000.00 from a
reputable financial Institution approved by the Central Bank of Kenya. The bid
bond must remain valid for 147 days from the closing date of the tender. A
scanned Copy ofthe Bid Bond should be uploaded into the ifmis tender portal during
the time of submission on or before the closing date of the tender. Original bid
bond shall be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked
“BIDBond” with the particulars ofthe tender and be deposited in the Tender Box located
at the County Treasury on or before the deadline for submission of the tender.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documents submitted
and all accompanying attachments.
8. Completed tenders must be scanned and submitted electronically through the
ifmis supplier portal: suppliers.treasury.go.ke on or before Monday 31st March,2025 at 10.30am. Manually submitted Tenders shall not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any deadline date and time specified later. Scoring and unsealing of tenders will
be done electronically via the ifmis tender portal.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
