INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF MARSABIT STAFF & THEIR DEPENDANTS.
TENDER No: MBT/COU/ADMIN/02/2025-2026
1. The County Government of Marsabit P.O Box 384-60500 Marsabit invites sealed tenders for
the provision of Staff Medical Insurance Cover for one year renewable for a further one
year subject to satisfactory contract performance and availability of budgetary allocation.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 0800am to 5.00pm at the address given below. Tender
documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the County Government of Marsabit
official website: (www.marsabit.go.ke).
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders FREE OF
CHARGE from the County Government of Marsabit Official website: the PPIP tender portal
or www.marsabit.go.ke.
5. Tender documents may also be viewed and downloaded for free from the Public
Procurement Information Portal (PPIP):https://tenders.go.ke
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a bid bond of Ksh.4,800,000.00 from a reputable
financial Institution approved by the Central Bank of Kenya. The bid bond must remain
valid for 182 days from the closing date of the tender. Original bid bond shall be enclosed
in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked
“BID Bond” with the particulars of the tender and be deposited in the Tender Box located
at the County Treasury on or before the deadline for submission of the tender.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted
and all accompanying attachments.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted Manually on or before Monday 13th October,2025
at 1000hrs. Electronic submitted Tenders shall not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or
any deadline date and time specified later. Scoring and unsealing of tenders will be done Physically.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
