INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF GENERAL INSURANCE SERVICES FOR THE YEARS 2026/2027
TENDER NO: NCC/F & EP/AM/295/2026-2027
1. The Nairobi City County Government invites sealed tenders for the Provision of General Insurance Services for years 2026/2027.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized tender document and is open to all qualified
and interested Tenderers. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours 0800hrs to
1500 hours at the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website www.nairobi.go.ke
and the national suppliers’ portal www.tenders.go.ke.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.nairobi.go.keand the national suppliers’ portal
www.tenders.go.ke.Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
nairobiprocurement@gmail.com OR procurement@nairobi.go.ke. P.O Box 30075-00100 to facilitate any further clarification or
addendum.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Two Million five hundred Thousand Shillings Only (Kshs. 2,500,000.00)
and shall be in any of the following forms at the Tenderer’s option: i) cash; ii) a bank guarantee;
iii) a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority; or
iv) a guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya,
N/B: A tenderer shall not issue a tender security to guarantee itself or sister Institutions.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before, 10th APRIL 2026 at 11.30AM
7. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later.
Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
8. Late Tender will automatically be rejected.
