INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR STAFF AND COUNCIL MEMBERS
1. The KISUMU NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC invites sealed tenders for the
PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR STAFF AND
COUNCIL MEMBERS – TENDER NO: TKNP/T/MED INS/2025/2026/01
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain tender documents from the website
www.kisumupoly.ac.ke or www.tenders.go.ke
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested
tenderers upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KES. 1000.00 in cash or Banker’s
Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents will be obtained
electronically and will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.kisumupoly.ac.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document must forward
their particulars immediately to procurement@kisumupoly.ac.ke to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by Original valid Tender Security amounting to
Kenya Shillings Three Hundred and twenty Thousand Only (Kshs.320, 000.00) in
form of a Bank guarantee from a bank licensed and operating in Kenya or a guarantee
from an Insurance Company registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA)
valid for thirty (30) days beyond the validity of the tender (120 days).
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 am on
21ST January 2026. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted. Note: Tenders that
do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the Chief Principal Secretary’s Office
and recorded in the register.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
