INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER SERVICE FOR THE FY 2025-2026
TENDER NO.MCMC/OT/01/2025-2026
1. Meru County Microfinance Corporation invites sealed tenders for the provision of Insurance
Services for various covers as indicated in the tender notice.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized
tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenderers will be
allowed to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during normal working days between 8.00 am – 1.00 pm and 2.00 -5.00 pm at
the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the
website www.countymicrofinance.go.ke and government portal tenders.go.ke i.e
https://tenders.go.ke
4. Tender documents are only obtained electronically free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.countymicrofinance.go.ke and government portal tenders.go.ke .Tenderers who
download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum. Bidders who choose to bid should also register with the
Procurement Department by submission of an application letter on their company letterhead
declaring their intention to bid in this tender for any further clarifications or addenda.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Security of 2% of the Tender sum from a bank
or reputable insurance approved by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 19
thJune 2025 at
10.00 am. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Original Tender document must be clearly marked as “ORIGINAL” and two (2) copies
clearly marked as “COPY” must be submitted on the due date.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
