The Kenya Industrial Property Institute is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development, established under the Industrial Property Act No 3 of 2001.

Interested candidates may obtain the tender documents from the Procurement Office at the KIPI Centre, Nairobi, upon payment of a non – refundable fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand (Kshs. 1,000.00) only in bankers cheque payable to the Managing Director, Kenya Industrial Property Institute during normal office working hours (8.00am- 1.00pm, 2.00pm -5.00pm). Alternatively, prospective bidders may download the tender document from the Institutes website: (www.kipi.go.ke) or Public Procurement Information Portal (www.tenders.go.ke) free of charge. Bidders who download the documents and intend to submit their bids should send their particulars to procurement@kipi.go.ke for registration purposes and any other clarifications.

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs, must be expressed in Kenya Shillings or easily convertible foreign currency and shall remain valid for 120 days for tender KIPI/T/001/2020/2021 and 90 days for tender KIPI/T/002/2020/2021 from the closing date of the two tenders.

Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the TENDER NUMBER and be addressed to:

Or be deposited in the tender box situated at the main entrance of the administration block at KIP! Centre so as to be received on or before 07th July, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. for tender KIPI/T/002/2020/2021 and 07th July, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. for tender KIPI/T/001/2020/2021. Submitted bids shall be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the candidates or tenderers representatives who choose to attend.

Tenderers are hereby notified of a mandatory Pre-tender site visit for tender KIPI/T/001/2020/2021 scheduled to take place on 30th June, 2021 at 11:00am. Tenderers who fail to attend the mandatory pre-tender site meeting shall be considered non-responsive.

KIPI reserves the right to accept or reject any application in whole or part.
