INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING [IPO] OF KENYA PIPELINE COMPANY LIMITED [KPC]

PROVISION OF TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES
- As part of the implementation of the Privatization Programme, the National Assembly has approved privatization of the Kenya Pipeline Company Limited [KPC] through an Initial Public Offering [IPO] of shares on the Nairobi Securities Exchange [NSE].
- The Privatization Commission, established under the Privatization Act, 2005, is the implementing agency for Kenya’s Privatization Programme.
- KPC was established in 1973 as a state corporation to provide an efficient and safe means of transporting and storing petroleum products and is wholly owned by the Government of Kenya.
- The Privatization Commission is seeking the services of Transaction Advisors for the proposed IPO.

- The services will be provided by a team of Advisors, led by a Lead Transaction Advisor. The Advisors will, among others, provide services under one or more of the following categories:

- The Lead Transaction Advisor will be responsible for coordinating the entire IPO process, including overseeing all other advisors.
- The Privatization Commission now invites all eligible Advisors to indicate their interest in providing the services. The advisors interested in providing these services should submit information demonstrating they have the required qualifications and experience.
- Advisors will be selected in accordance with the Quality Cost Based Selection method set out in the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015.
