As such, FCA invites interested, eligible and competent firms to bid through open domestic bidding for the works below.

With Funds received from UNICEF Finn Church Aid (FCA) is launching a “Local Open Tender” and invites interested contractors for the following tender:
Construction.
- Rehabilitation and branding of 7 Boreholes to improve access to safe and adequate water supply in Garissa County.
- All the works are for a humanitarian project implemented by FCA in Garissa County.
- Please note that the prices shall be quoted in KES only inclusive of VAT.
- Site visit will take place on 4th and 5th March 2024
The first Site visit date will be on 4th March 2024 At 9.00 am at the Government Civil Servant Guest House Garissa county, where you will meet the FCA Project Engineer (Please observe punctuality).
You will visit the following sites on 4th March 2024: Baraki, Alikune, Guro and Madina.
The second Site visit date will be on 5th March 2024 At 10.00 am at Kuno Hotel in Mbalambala, Garissa County, where you will meet the FCA Project Engineer (Please observe punctuality).
You will visit the following sites on 5th March 2024:
Madina, Bula Dansa, Malah Diba.
NB: All Contractors will bear their own transportation costs.
- All bids, in English only, must be submitted online through the link bellow as two different attachments.
- a)Dully filled Tender document- Please note that FCA will get the quoted price only from Annex 3 (Tender submission form). Any other modifications will be automatically disqualified.
- b)Supporting documents/company documents as requested in clause 5 (Eligibility criteria) and 6 (Contract Award criteria).

- Tenders will be opened at the address mentioned below at the time stated in the tender
dossier. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, tender opening will take place on 18th March 2024 from 11.00 am through zoom (the link will be sent).

The Contracting authority may for its own convenience and without charge or liability cancel the tender process at any stage.
