REHABILITATION OF DN20 TO DN90 PIPELINE AND ASSOCIATED FITTINGS IN TITIE- WAMAGANA WATER PROJECT

TETU ABERDARE WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY TENDER SEPTEMBER 2025 

Project Name: Water and Sanitation Development Project – Conditional Liquidity Support Grant(CLSG) II

Tetu Water and Sanitation PLC has received funding from the Water Sector Trust Fund financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation development Project-Conditional Liquidity Support Grant (CLSG) II, and intends to use part of the fund to undertake the following works.

The company hereby invites bids from eligible firms to undertake the following works

1. Qualified and interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Request For Quotation (RFQ) Documents during office hours from 8a.m to 1 Pm and 2pm – 5 Pm from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays at the address given below. The bidding document in English may be downloaded free of charge from the company’s website www.teawasco.co.ke
2. Bidding will be conducted through World Bank Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised 5th Edition September 2023(Procurement Regulations”), which can be found in the World bank Website(https://www.worldbank.org/en/programs/project-procurement )
3. RFQ shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. RFQ shall remain valid for one hundred and twenty-(120) days from the date of opening of tenders.
4. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the RFQ document submitted.
5. There will be a Mandatory site visit on 29th August 2025 at 11.00 Am (East Africa Time)
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd September 2025 AT 11.00AM. EAST AFRICAN TIME
7. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. The amount and currency of the BID Security shall be: KSHS. 125,000
