INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)
PROVISION OF STAFF AND BOARD MEMBERS MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER
TENDER NO: T/NaHeCo/001/2025-2026
1. The National Heroes Council invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Staff and Board
Members Medical Insurance Cover.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized
tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below. Tender
documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website www.heroes.go.ke or the
Public Procurement Information Portal: www.tender.go.ke free of charge.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders
upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KES 1,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand
Only) Banker’s Cheque payable to the Council, deposited in National Heroes Council
Account No: 1296610934, Bank Name: Kenya Commercial Bank, Branch: Nairobi High
Court. N/B Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.heroes.go.ke and/or downloaded from the PPIP portal website
http://www.tender.go.ke/. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to procurement@heroes.go.ke
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of KShs. 100,000.00 (Kenya
Shillings One Hundred Thousand Shillings) valid for 140 days.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. There shall be paid a Levy by a supplier (the Public Procurement Capacity Building Levy) on all
procurement contracts signed between the supplier and a procuring entity, at the rate of zero point
zero three per centum (0.03%) of the value of the signed contract, exclusive of applicable taxes.
- Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd December, 2025 at
11.00am (East Africa Time). Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
