INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER REF. NO. KFS/DISP/27/2025 – 2026
SALE OF PULPWOOD FOREST MATERIALS
1.1 Kenya Forest Service invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for sale of pulpwood
forest materials in Western Kenya and South Rift regions.
1.2 Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from and inspect the tender
documents at the Supply Chain Management Department at Kenya Forest Service
headquarters, Karura off Kiambu Road, P.O. Box 30513-00100, Tel 020-2397660/020-
8023042 Nairobi during normal working hours.
1.3 A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 in cash or bankers cheque payable to the
Director, Kenya Forest Service. The document can also be downloaded from the KENYA
FOREST SERVICE website www.kenyaforestservice.org or from the IFMIS supplier’s
portal; supplier.treasury.go.ke free of charge. Those who download the tender document
and intend to submit a bid are required to submit their particulars to Supply Chain
Department’s Office for records and for the purpose of receiving any further tender
clarifications and/or addendums.
1.4 Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with
the tender number and name and be deposited in the Tender Box at Kenya Forest Service
Headquarters, Reception area or addressed to the Director, Kenya Forest Service P.O.
Box 30513-00100 Nairobi so as to be received before 18th November 2025 at 10.00AM.
1.5 Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the bidders
representatives who choose to attend the opening at Kenya Forest Service Headquarters
Canteen located in Karura, off Kiambu road.
1.6 All bidders must Serialize their documents
