POLICYHOLDERS COMPENSATION FUND TENDER JUNE 2022

SENSITIZATION FORUM FOR YOUTH, WOMEN AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITY ON ACCESS TO GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Policyholders Compensation Fund (PCF) is a state corporation governed by Section 179 of Insurance Act (Cap. 487) and Insurance (Policyholders Compensation Fund) (Amendment) Regulation 2014. The Fund was established for the primary purpose of providing compensation to claimant of an insurer that has been put under Statutory Management and the secondary purpose of increasing general public con- fidence in insurance sector.

The Fund invites firms owned by Youth, Women & Persons with Disability (YW&PWD) for a half -day sensitization forum on 20th June, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the College of Insurance (located on Red Cross Road, South C, Nairobi). The Fund is conducting this Sensitization Forum in partnership with Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).

The theme of the forum is to create awareness of the Procurement opportunities and supplier registra- tion at PCF. The target audience will be the Disadvantaged groups – Youth, Women & Persons with Disability. 

For logistics, interested persons must confirm participation by sending an e-mail to procurements@pcf. go.ke. The e-mail contents should include (participants Name, Business/Registration Name, Telephone Number and E-mail Address.)

NB: The session is intended for sensitization on available procurement opportunities and are in no way intended to provide participants with any undue advantage as regards Policyholders Compensation Fund tenders.
