SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS (GOODS) 

The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Horn Africa Gateway Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the following contracts; Procurement of Survey Equipment for National Lands Commission (NLC).

The Kenya National Highways Authority, a State Corporation under the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the National Land Com- mission (NLC) and to be delivered at their respective Headquarters’ offices in Nairobi.

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 as update November 2020 (‘’Procurement Regulations’’), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information at the offices of Kenya National Highways Authority (address below) during week days (Monday to Friday), excluding public holidays, from 09:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs local time and inspect the Bidding document during office hours at the address given below

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 250,000.00 (Kenya Shillings Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Only) in form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 1100 Hrs local time on Friday, 19th August, 2022 enclosed in plain packages and clearly marked with the Tender Number and Description for identification as appropriate:

Electronic Bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidder’s designated representatives and anyone who choos- es to attend at the address below.

Attention is drawn to the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
