1. The Kenya Revenue Authority invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for the following
tenders:

3. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained from KRA E-Procurement
portal available on the KRA website www.kra.go.ke free of charge. Prospective bidders should
register for E-Procurement to enable them access the KRA portal under “New Supplier
Registration” found under the Tender Tab.
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 8:00am-5:00pm. Completed Bids are to be saved as PDF
documents marked “KRA/HQS/NCB-041/2022-2023; Supply, Delivery, Installation
and Commissioning of Local Area Networks (LANs) Power and Power Backup
Solution for KRA Office at Cruise Terminal, Kilindini, Mombasa ” and submitted to
the appropriate KRA E-procurement Web Portal found on the KRA website so as to be received
on or before 7th March, 2024 at 11.00 a.m.
5. Tendering will be conducted under National Open Competitive method using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is opento allqualified and interestedTenderers.
6. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours i.e.0800 to 1700 hours.
7. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.kra.go.ke free of charge. Tenderers who download the tender document must
forward their particulars immediately to eprocurement@kra.go.ke, telephone +254
02 2817022 and P.O. BOX 48240 – 00100 to facilitate any further clarification or
addendum.
8. The tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

9. Submission should strictly be done via the KRA E-Procurement Portal.
10. The deadline for addressing e-system Bid Submission issues/challenges is 24 hours before the
tender closing date and time.
11. Bids will be opened electronically promptly after closing time and Bidders or their
representatives are welcome to witness the opening at Times Tower Building.
12. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes.
13. Tenders shall remain valid for 335 days from the date of opening of tenders.
14. An original hard copy of the Bid Security of not less than the indicated amount or
equivalent amount Kshs 300,000.00 in a freely convertible currency must be dropped in the
Tender Security Box located at Times Tower Building, Ground Floor any day before the tender
closing date. The Bid Security must be in a sealed envelope bearing the Tender Description and
addressed to the address indicated above.
15. Tenders will be opened immediately after the closing date and time specified above or any
other deadline date and time that may be specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend Tender Opening at
the address indicated above.
16. Late tenders will be rejected
Any canvassing or giving of false information will lead to automatic
disqualification.
