INVITATION TO TENDER 
SUPPLY & DELIVERY OF MICROBIOLOGY AND CHEMICAL LABORATORY ITEMS 

Invitation to Tender No. KMC/10590&10467/2023-25 

3. The KENYA MEAT COMMISSION invites sealed tenders for the supply of goods i.e. microbiology and chemical laboratory items through an annual Framework Agreement (Renewable up to a period of 3 years).
4. Tendering will be conducted under Open Tender Method (National) using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all interested and eligible bidders.
5. A complete set of tender documents be can obtained electronically through downloading from KMC Website (www.kenyameat.co.ke) or Government Tenders Portal (PPIP – www.tenders.go.ke) free of charge.
6. All interested bidders should register their particulars confirming participation to the email tenders@kenyameat.co.ke for communication of any addendum or clarifications.
7. The number of suppliers/contractors within the framework agreement will be seven (7) bidders.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security declaration form as prescribed.
9. Prices quoted shall be valid for period covered in the Framework Agreement.
10. The Framework Agreement will engage firms as required, through call-off contracts and or mini-competition.
11. The Framework Agreement shall be done through a closed panel from the contracted suppliers.
12. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
13. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday, 12th July, 2022 at 1100hrs. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
14. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below:
