INVITATION TO TENDER 

SUPPLY OF FUEL, OIL, LUBRICANTS AND OTHER RELATED PRODUCTS USING CARD SYSTEM (FRAMEWORK CONTRACT) 

CONTRACT REFERENCE NUMBER KESRETI/OT/004/2025-26 

1. The Kenya Sugar Research and Training Institute invites sealed tenders for the
   supply of Fuel, Oil, lubricants and other related Products using card system
   under framework agreement for a period of two years, with a possibility of
   extension for one year subject to performance review.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National/ using a
   standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
   Tender Documents during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours] at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested
   tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of 1000/= Kenya shillings) in
   cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
   documents may be obtained electronically from the Website httpt://
   www.kesreti.org or https:// tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained
   electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the
   website httpt:// www.kesreti.org or https:// tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who
   download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately
   to tenders@kesreti.org to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original Tender Security of Kenya
   Shillings 100,000.00 in form of Bank Guarantee from a bank licensed and
   operating in Kenya, valid for thirty 120 days after tender closing date. This shall be in
   the format provided in the tender document.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before
   Wednesday,4th March, 2026 at 11.30 Hrs EAT. Electronic Tenders will not be
   permitted. And deposited in the Tender Box at the reception area, KESRETI
   Headquarters, Kibos. Tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at
   the Managing Director’s, Office -Administration Block, 1st floor .

9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time
   specified above or any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will
   be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
   representatives who choose to attend at the address below.

10. Late tenders will be rejected.
