INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF DRUG REHABILITATION CENTRE -MERU COUNTY.

- The Ministry of Health, State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards, invites
sealed tenders for PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF DRUG REHABILITATION CENTRE AT
MERU COUNTY. - Tendering will be conducted under open National Tendering method and is open to all qualified and
interested Tenders. - Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below. - A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) Public
Procurement Information Portal : www.tenders.go.ke or from the Ministry’s website:
www.health.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers may
also obtain hard copy of the tender document for the head of supply chain management services,
Ministry of Health, State Department of Public Health and Professional Standards, Room 514,5th
floor, Afya House, upon payment of nonrefundable fee of ksh.1000, payable at the cash office located
in the second-floor room No.218 during normal working hours from 8.00am to 5.00pm. - Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid
for 126 days from the date of opening of tenders. - All Tender must be accompanied by a tender security of Ksh 500,000.0 (Kenya shillings Five Hundred
Thousand) from a reputable bank approved and licensed by Central Bank of Kenya or provide a
guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority
listed by the authority. - The tender security shall be valid for 156 days from the date of tender opening pursuant to ITT19.
- The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
- Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 12th
May, 2025 at 11.00 am. Kenya time.

Nairobi, so as to be received on or before 12th May, 2025. at 11.00am. Kenya time.
Note: Bulky documents should be delivered to the Office of the Head, Supply Chain Management
Services, on 5th floor room 514, at the Ministry of Health, Afya House, Cathedral Road.
10. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any date line date
and times specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
