TENDER FOR PROVISION OF ANNUAL GROUP MEDICAL INSURANCE, GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT COVER, WIBA & GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE FOR THE MEMBERS AND STAFF OF VIHIGA COUNTY ASSEMBLY.
INVITATION TO TENDER
1. The Vihiga County Assembly invites sealed tenders for Provision of Annual Group Medical
Insurance, Group Personal Accident Cover, WIBA & Group Life Assurance for the Members
and Staff of Vihiga County Assembly.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method and is open to all
eligible and interested Underwriters and Brokers.
3. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office working hours, Monday to Friday between 0900hrs to 1600hrs
except for public holidays and weekends at Vihiga County Assembly, Procurement
Office.
4. Tender documents are accessible to be viewed and downloaded for free from the VCA
Website; vihigacountyassembly.or.ke, www.egpkenya.go.ke, https://supplier.treasury.go.ke,
and the Public Procurement Information Portal via; http://www.tenders.go.ke.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security (Bid bond) of Kenya
Shillings 500,000.00 in form of a Demand Bank guarantee from a bank recognized by the
Central Bank of Kenya and operating in Kenya or a guarantee by an insurance company
registered and licenced by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority
valid for 120 days.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tender documents are to be filled and uploaded in the e-GPS and IFMIS platform
so as to be received on or before 19th February, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.
8. Tenders will be closed immediately and processed thereafter in the e-GPS & IFMIS platform.
