INVITATION TO TENDER

TENDER FOR PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES AND GARDENING.
The MAKUENI COUNTY REFERRAL HOSPITAL invites sealed tenders f r o m eligible
candidates in the special category (AGPO Category) for the provision of cleaning services and
gardening for two (2) years framework contract effective 1st January 2026 or as may be contracted,
and may be renewed for another two more years subject to satisfactory performance. The contract will be
subject to annual satisfactory performance review.

Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and must be in Kenya Shillings and should remain
valid for 170 days after date of tender opening. Tenders shall remain valid for 140 days from
the date of opening.
The Tenderer must fill the Tender Securing Declaration Form provided, provide a selfdeclaration that the firm is not debarred from participating in Public Procurement and also
provide a self-declaration that it will not engage in corrupt practice.
Tenderers are required to undertake the site visit before bidding to verify details and scope
of services as guided here below.
PRE-TENDER MEETING/SITE VISIT
A site visit/pre-bid tour will be organized by the Hospital Procurement Office upon request by the
tenderer. The site visit will be between 9.00 am – 4.00pm on week days and it is Mandatory that all
bidders attend. Failure to attend will lead to disqualification.
NB: Each tenderer shall complete the certificate of tenderers visit for each site and sign the attendance register.

So as to be received on or before Tuesday 7th January, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the
tenderers representatives who choose to attend the opening at the conference Hall of
the Makueni County Referral Hospital.
Department of Health services reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and may annul
the tendering process and reject all tenders at any time prior to contract award without
thereby incurring any liability to the affected tenderer or tenderers.
