INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF POINT TO POINT (WAN) CONNECTIVITY FOR STATIONS.
TENDER NO: CA/SCM/OT/13/2025-2026
1. The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) invites sealed tenders for Provision of Point to Point (WAN)
Connectivity for stations.
2. Tendering will be conducted under National open competitive method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
hours between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays, at the CA Centre on Waiyaki
Way, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Department, 3rd floor – Wing A at the CA Centre.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a nonrefundable fees of Kshs.1,000.00 payable to CA and a receipt obtained from our Accounts office, located in the
CA Centre. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website: https://www.ca.go.ke/opentenders or Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) supplier portal : https://tenders.go.ke/OpenTenders.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website:

https://tenders.go.ke/OpenTenders. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars to tenders@ca.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Kshs. 1,000,000.00 in form of a bank guarantee from a
reputable bank/financial institution recognized by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) or an insurance Bond from an
Insurance Company Registered and Licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) valid for 170 days from
the date of tender opening.
7. Completed tenders in a plain sealed envelope marked; OPEN NATIONAL TENDER FOR PROVISION
OF POINT TO POINT (WAN) CONNECTIVITY FOR STATIONS- CA/SCM/OT/13/2025-2026 must
be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday, March 25, 2026, AT 10:30 AM (East
African Time). Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time
specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
