a) The Kenya Revenue Authority invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for the following tender:

c) A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained free of charge from Kenya Revenue
Authority website www.kra.go.ke and the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP)
www.tenders.go.ke. Prospective bidders should register for E-Procurement to enable them access the
KRA portal under “New Supplier Registration” found under the Tender Tab.
d) Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 8:00am-5:00pm atKenya Revenue Offices, Times Tower 21st Floor. CompletedBids
are to be saved as PDF documents marked “KRA/HQS/NCB-053/2025-2026: Renovation
Works at Ground Floor Banking Wing, KRA Times Tower and submitted to the
appropriate KRA E-procurement Web Portal found on the KRA website so as to be received on or
before 7th April, 2026 at 11.00 a.m.
e) Tendering will be conducted under National Open Competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering isopento allqualifiedand interested Tenderers
f) Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours i.e.0800 to 1700 hours.
g) Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded from the website www.kra.go.ke or Public
Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) www.tenders.go.ke free of charge. Tenderers
who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
eprocurement@kra.go.ke, telephone +254 02 281 7022 and P.O. BOX 48240 – 00100 to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
h) The tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

i) Submission should strictly be done via the KRA E-Procurement Portal.
j) A tender security of Kshs. 100,000.00 shall be required. The validity of the bid security shall be 365 days
from the date of submission i.e. valid up to 6th April, 2027.
Note: An original hard copy of the Bid Security of not less than the indicated amount or
equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency must be dropped in the Tender Security
Box located at Times Tower Building, Ground Floor any day before the tender closing date.
The Bid Security must be in a sealed envelope bearing the Tender Description and
addressed to the address indicated above. Alternatively, bidders may submit a digital
security. A digital Security must be verifiable through secure means such as QR code or an
online portal, dedicated email, etc and must be submitted in the notes and attachment
folder in the SAP Portal on or before the tender closing date and time.

j) Bids will be opened electronically promptly after closing time and Bidders or their representatives are
welcome to witness the opening at Times Tower Building.
k) Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
335 days from the date of opening of tenders.
The Tenderer shall furnish as part of its Tender, a FILLED, SIGNED AND STAMPED Tender-Securing
Declaration FORM as specified in the TDS.
l) Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address above.
m) Late tenders will be rejected.
Any canvassing or giving of false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
