INVITATION TO TENDER

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF FARM INPUTS (AGROCHEMICALS)
1. Kenya Seed Company Ltd invites sealed tenders from eligible tenderers for the Supply
and Delivery of Farm Inputs (Agrochemicals) as indicated in the schedule of requirements in Section V.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) and is open to all
qualified, eligible and interested tenderers.
3. Margin of preference not applicable, reservations not allowed and neither alternative
tenders will not be allowed
4. Interested and eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect the tender
documents from Procurement Department office, Kenya Seed headquarters, Ground
Floor, Kitale during normal working hours.
5. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon
payment of non-refundable fees of Kes 1,000.00 in cash or Banker’s cheque payable to
Kenya Seed Company Limited or be accessed at the www.kenyaseed.com free of
charge or be accessed Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP). Interested bidders
who opt to download the Tender Document shall be required to submit their contact details
to procurement@kenyaseed.co.ke for recording and any further clarification and addenda.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kes. 1,000,000.00.
7. The tenderers shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender document submitted.
8. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and delivery cost, must be in Kenya Shillings and
shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of the tender. Public Procurement Capacity
Building Levy shall be applicable at the rate of 0.03% of the value of the signed contract.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 6TH FEBRUARY
2026 at 11:00 a.m. Kenya Seed Company Limited Mbegu Plaza, Kijana Wamalwa
Street, P.O, Box 553 KITALE Tel. 054 31909-14, 0722 205 144 (Electronic Tenders will not be permitted).
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or
any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the
Candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at Kenya Seed Company
Limited, Mbegu Plaza, Ground Floor, Conference Road, Kijana Wamalwa Road,
Kitale. Late tenders will not be accepted.
