INVITATION TO TENDER.
Tender for Supply and Delivery of Motor Vehicles for the County Government of Laikipia.
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document. Tendering is
open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
hours [0900 to 1700 hours] at the address given below.

1. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by the interested candidates on the County Government website
at www.laikipia.go.ke free of charge. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to (info@laikipia.go.ke, and
PO Box 1271 – 10400, Nanyuki, Kenya) to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.

clarification or addendum.
3. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 180
days from the date of opening of tenders.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Security of KSH300,000 ,000 in the form of Cash Deposit, Bank
Guarantee, Insurance Company Guarantee or a Letter of Credit valid for 180 Days from the tender closing date.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted. Spiral bidding of tender
documents is not encouraged.
6. Completed tender documents, enclosed in plain sealed envelope, marked with the tender number and tender
description shall be addressed to:

and be deposited in the tender box provided at the procurement offices in Nanyuki, Kenya, so as to be received above on or
before Tuesday, 27TH JUNE,2023 at 11:00 AM. Electronic Tenders WILL NOT be permitted.
7. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
times Specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
8. Late tenders will be rejected.
