INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PHARMACEUTICAL (HUMAN DRUGS) AND NON
PHARMACEUTICAL ITEMS – (FRAMEWORK CONTRACT)
TENDER NO. MU/AMP/T/2024-2025/29
MOI UNIVERSITY – AMPATH invites sealed tenders for SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF
PHARMACEUTICAL (HUMAN DRUGS) AND NON-PHARMACEUTICAL ITEMS under
framework contract for a period of 2 years from contract signing date renewable
annually subject to satisfactory performance.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualifi ed and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualifi ed and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Document during offi ce hours from 8.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m at Supply Chain
Office at the AMPATH Warehouse (Entrance Opposite Shoe 4 Africa
Children’s Hospital.
4. A complete set of tender documents containing detailed information may
be downloaded from the PPIP website: www.tenders.go.ke OR Moi
University website: www.mu.ac.ke at no cost.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded free of charge from the website
www.tenders.go.ke.Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to scmrspo@ampath.or.ke to facilitate any further
clarifi cation or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all applicable taxes and
levies. Tenders shall remain valid for 120 days from the date of opening of the tenders.
7. Paragraph 3(1) of The Levy Order, 2023; provides that there shall be paid a Levy by a
supplier on all procurement contracts signed between the supplier and a procuring
entity, at the rate of zero point zero three per centum (0.03%) of the value of the signed
contract, exclusive of applicable taxes.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 150,000/- in form of
Bankers cheque, Bank or insurance guarantee issued by company registered and licensed
by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed and listed by the Public Procurement
Regulatory Authority valid for 150 days after the date of tender opening.
- Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 18 th June,
2025 at 10.30 a.m. Hard copies of the tender document shall be deposited at
the Tender Box located at Ground Floor at MECC Building, Moi College of
Health Sciences. Bulky tenders shall be received at the Research and
Sponsored Projects Office, Supply Chain Office at the AMPATH Warehouse
(Entrance Opposite Shoe 4 Africa Children’s Hospital). Electronic Tenders will
not be permitted. - Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specifi ed above or
any deadline date and time specifi ed later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence
of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - Tenderers shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted
- Late tenders will be rejected.
