FOR SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION, CUSTOMIZATION, TESTING, COMMISSIONING, TRAINING AND MAINTENANCE/SUPPORT OF A SACCO CORE BANKING SYSTEM
Fundilima Sacco is one of the fast growing SACCOs in Kenya with a BOSA membership of over 2,500 and FOSA with over 4,000 accounts.
The Sacco is inviting interested bidders and solution vendors to express their interest for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Configuration, Customization, Testing, Commissioning. Training and Maintenance/Support of a SACCO Core Banking System.
Tenderers’ MUST provide the following eligibility requirements to be used as evaluation criteria:
- Detailed company profile, physical address, and qualification of Lead consultant and names of 2 technical staff to undertake the assignment, including their qualifications with lead consultant to have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field and 2 technical/support staff to have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field [CVs and academic certificates of key Managers and the support staff to be attached).
- Certificate of Registration or Incorporation,
- Submit a certified copy of Valid Single Business Permit from the National / County Government
- Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate [to be verified online through KRA TCC checker).
- Attach a certified copy of CR12 certificate issued by Registrar of Companies within the last 12 Months. Attach certified copies of identification documents [IDs or valid passports) of all the owner[s)/director(s) of the tenderer.
- Provide copies of Audited Financial Accounts for the most recent three years [2019,2020 and 2021) and signed by the Auditor and Directors) as required
- Firm Experience: The firm must have previous experience of a minimum of three [3) years in development and implementation of a Sacco core banking system in compliance with SASRA – attach evidence.
- Reference: The firm should have provided the service to at least two SACCO Societies preferably in Kenya – To provide evidence and contact person[s) with their telephone contacts in each case.
A set of complete tender documents [1 Original and 2 copies- serialized/paginated) in a plain sealed envelope clearly indicating “Supply, Delivery, installation, Configuration, Customization, Testing, Commissioning, Training and Maintenance/Support of a Core Banking System” should be deposited in the tender box located at Fundilima Sacco Society Limited – JKUAT Main Campus, Juja so as to reach the undersigned not later than Thursday, 16th February, 2023 at 11.00 a.m. East Africa Time.

The opening of the bids will take place thereafter at the Fundilima SACCO Society Limited JKUAT Main Campus Juja thereafter in the presence of the bidders who will be interested to attend. Only successful prequalified bidders will be invited to the next stage of Request for Proposal [RFP).
