- The Kibabii university invites sealed tenders for the supply, delivery, installation, testing and
commissioning of 250kva stand by diesel generator. - Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. - Tendering is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately

during office hours i.e. 0800hrs to 1700hrs at the address given below or www.kibu.ac.ke or
www.tenders.go.ke.

during normal working hours on Monday to Friday between 0800hrs to 1700hrs (East Africa Time). - A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non- refundable fees of Kes. 1000.00 Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.kibu.ac.ke or tenders.go.ke Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers downloading documents from a
designated website shall advise the Procurement Entity that they have downloaded the tender documents,
giving full contact addresses of the tenderer (email, telephone number and postal address) - Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.kibu.ac.ke or
tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately
to procurement@kitu.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum. The procedures to be
followed will be as follows:
………………………………………………… - All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security (Bid Bond) of Kenya Shillings 200,000 in form of
Bank Guarantee from a reputable bank or insurance company approved by Public Procurement Regulatory
Authority (PPRA) with validity period of 170days - Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday, 10th March,2026 at
1000hrs EAT. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted. - Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.
