INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, TESTING, TRAINING AND COMMISSIONING OF THEATRE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE SYOKIMAU LEVEL FOUR (4 No.)

1. The COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF MACHAKOS invites sealed tenders SUPPLY, DELIVERY,
INSTALLATION, TESTING, TRAINING AND COMMISSIONING OF THEATRE M E D I C A L
EQUIPMENT FOR THE SYOKIMAU LEVEL FOUR (4 No.) HOSPITAL.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
In case tender is subject to multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for
one only” (N/A).
In case this tender is subject to a Reservation, specify the Group is eligible to tender, Insert e.g.,” Tendering to
open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with “OPEN”
3. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.supplier.treasury.go.ke
or the county website www.machakos.go.ke or the public procurement information portal
www.tenders.go.ke free of charge.
4. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
119 days from the date of opening.
5. Interested Tenderers are encouraged to visit the site of installation Syokimau Level Four (4 No.)
Hospital during working hours to familiarize themselves with the scope of the work.
6. Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date on IFMIS Portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke
Bidders are advised to monitor the opening process through the same portal.
7. Tender must be accompanied by a tender Security of KSH. 100,000/= (ONE HUNDRED
THOUSAND) Is valid for 90 days. inform of cash, a bank guarantee or an insurance company
registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority or issued by a
financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya in line to Regulation 45 of
PPADR 2020.
8. Interested and eligible bidders having challenges uploading their tender documents in the Integrated
Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) Supplier Portal may obtain assistance from the
IFMIS helpdesk on 0800721477/0202480180 at the National treasury
- Late tenders will be rejected. The system will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing
