INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR SUPPLY, FABRICATION, DELIVERY AND FITTING OF CURTAINS AND SHEERS AT CBK INSTITUTE OF MONETARY STUDIES CENTRAL BANK OF KENYA

TENDER NO. CBK/103/2025-2026 

1. The Central Bank of Kenya invites sealed tenders for the Supply, Fabrication, Delivery and Fitting of Curtains
   and Sheers at CBK Institute of Monetary Studies Central Bank of Kenya – Reserved for Women
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is
   open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. The tenders are lotted 1 & 2 and bidders are free to bid for lots of
   their choices.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
   hours (Monday to Friday) between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm at the address given below. More details on the Services
   are provided in PART 2 – Services Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
4. A complete set of Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Central Bank of Kenya website:
   www.centralbank.go.ke OR PPIP website: www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will
   be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the Central Bank of Kenya website:
   www.centralbank.go.ke OR PPIP website: www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document
   must forward their particulars immediately to supplies@centralbank.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification
   or addendum.
6. A site visit for Lot 1: (Supply, Fabrication, Delivery and Fitting of and Curtains and Sheer at CBK Institute of
   Monetary Studies Central Bank of Kenya will be held at the Central Bank of Kenya, Institute of Monetary
   Studies, formerly Kenya Institute of Monetary Studies(KSMS) in Ruaraka along Mathare North Road on 2
   nd April
   2026 at the Administration Block at 11:00 a.m.
7. A site visit for Lot 2: (Supply, Fabrication, and Delivery of Decorative Textile Accessories at CBK Institute of
   Monetary Studies Central Bank of Kenya will be held at the Central Bank of Kenya, Institute of Monetary
   Studies, formerly Kenya Institute of Monetary Studies(KSMS)in Ruaraka along Mathare North Road 2nd April 2026 at the Administration Block at 11:00 a.m.
8. Tender Security is NOT required. However, bidders Must provide a duly filled, signed and stamped Tender
   Securing Declaration form attached in the standard forms of this tender document.
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
10. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 13th April 2026 at 10:30 A.M. Electronic
    Tenders will not be permitted.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
    time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
    who choose to attend at the address indicated in (14c) below.

12. Late tenders will be rejected.

13. Bidders MUST ensure their representatives attending the tender opening have their National ID Cards/Passport
    for the purpose of identification.
